Job Description
The Grutzendler Lab is looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our lab in the Neuroscience department at Yale University/Wu Tsai Institute. The position focuses on groundbreaking research in neurodegeneration and neuro-glial-vascular biology, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and multidisciplinary approaches.
Techniques and Approaches: In vivo 2-photon microscopy, Calcium/voltage imaging, Optogenetics, Transcriptomics/proteomics, Gene editing (e.g., CRISPR/Cas9),3D electron microscopy, human iPSC.
What We Are Looking For:
-An individual with a recent Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Cell and Molecular Biology or other relevant areas
-Strong skills in molecular cloning, cell culture, and protein analysis.
-Proficiency in advanced imaging techniques such as confocal microscopy, live-cell imaging, or 2-photon imaging.
-Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively.
