Position: Postdoctoral Researchers and Research Scientists
Locations: University of Notre Dame and Harvard Medical School
Position Description:
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join a team at the forefront of bioprinting and regenerative medicine. The postdocs and research scientists will work on a collaborative project between Prof. Yanliang Zhang at Notre Dame and Prof. Y. Shrike Zhang at Harvard Medical School. Our interdisciplinary team is pioneering revolutionary bioprinting technologies capable of producing fully functional organs.
The candidates will receive world-class training and career development opportunities on cutting-edge bioprinting technologies at both Notre Dame and Harvard Medical School. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of groundbreaking bioprinting techniques and novel bioprinters to create complex, fully functional organs. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to transformative research that has the potential to revolutionize regenerative medicine.
Desired Qualifications:
PhD in Engineering or a related field.
Strong background in the development of bioprinters, or multi-materials 3D printers in general, including the hardwares and softwares
Bioprinting, tissue engineering, biomaterials
Control, automation, robotics and AI/ML for autonomous and intelligent additive manufacturing
Proven track record of scientific productivity demonstrated by publications in peer-reviewed reputable journals.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
