Job Description
A Post-doctoral Research Associate position is available in the Department of Molecular and Translational Medicine, Paul L. Foster School of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso (TTUHSC El Paso). Our research focuses on investigating oncogenic herpesviruses using in vitro and in vivo models to study virus-host interactions and develop novel intervention strategies. We are seeking a highly motivated, career-driven individual to join our team and contribute to our exciting research.
The Department of Molecular and Translational Medicine in the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso seeks to understand the fundamental underpinnings of human diseases, and to translate the newest research findings into preventative measures and the most effective treatments. The research in biomedical sciences is divided into four programmatic Centers of Emphasis: cancer, infectious diseases, neurosciences, and diabetes and metabolic disorders. Our scientific programs are complemented by substantial core facilities, and by a distinctive biostatistics and epidemiology unit that provides expertise in cutting-edge bioinformatics and data analysis.
