This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research with implications for therapy-resistant and metastatic tumors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute independent laboratory experiments, including complex molecular and cellular assays as well as 3D cell culture models to investigate the role of RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) and alternative splicing in tumor progression.
• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and draw meaningful conclusions to advance project goals.
• Develop and optimize research methodologies and experimental approaches.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to ongoing projects.
• Prepare and publish research findings in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
• Present research at scientific conferences, seminars, and lab meetings.
• Assist in grant writing and contribute to securing research funding.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Strong background in RNA biology/ alternative splicing, and/ or tumor microenvironment is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques. Experience in techniques such as gene editing (e.g., CRISPR) & 3D cell culture models is preferred.
