Summary
The St-Pierre Lab is seeking a motivated and creative scientist or engineer to develop next-generation tools for interfacing with the brain that includes genetically encoded voltage indicators (GEVIs), optogenetic silencers, and fluorescent proteins. Postdoctoral Associate with expertise, which may include:
• Protein engineering
• Optical system development
• High-throughput screening
• Electrophysiology
• Computational approaches

Job Duties
- Leads and contributes to research projects, both independently and collaboratively.
- Sets up, maintains, and optimizes experimental equipment.
- Mentors and trains lab members in techniques and experimental design.
- Presents research findings in lab meetings and at scientific conferences.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one first-author (or co-first-author) paper published in or submitted to a high-impact, peer-reviewed English-language journal.
- Manuscripts in preparation can be noted in your CV or cover letter.
